As the summer comes to an end, COVID cases are escalating once again in both Los Angeles and Ventura counties.
Even though most of our team members are vaccinated, we are following local county guidelines and are asking our team members and guests to wear masks while in our stores.
Our website is open to shop online, we are delivering furniture and are open for business.
Our showrooms are currently overstocked with merchandise, as many of our orders of furniture from last year
have finally arrived from our suppliers for you to take home and enjoy immediately.
For ordered items, we are experiencing excessive delays.
Our suppliers are experiencing compounded COVID related delays, from delayed shipping to delayed production times and input shortages.
Many delays have been caused by COVID outbreaks in factories forcing the factories to shut down.
Issues from the ports of Asia and a shortage of shipping containers are
making it nearly impossible to find containers and vessel space to ship products.
The delays are causing excessive lead times on the special order products we offer.
We are doing everything we can, including working with our suppliers, to facilitate the shipment of furniture to our stores and then promptly to your home.
Sadly, our overseas manufacturers have recenlty been hit badly with COVID, and country wide shutdowns are rampant in the factories of our suppliers in asia.
Vietnam, where much of our furniture is manufactured, is currently under government lock down to try to limit the spread of COVID.
They are experiencing today what we went thru at the begining of the spread in our communities.
Malaysia has been shut down, many of the ports of China are shutting down intermittently, and the flow of furniture has been challenging, to say the least.
The ports of Asia and Los Angeles and even our domestic manufacturers are feeling the heavy burden of COVID.
We live in a global world with a global supply chain and even component inputs of domestically made furniture is imported causing drastic delays on domestically produced furniture from North America.
We are working dilligently with our suppliers to flow furniture as smoothly as possible.
We have ordered and are carrying large amounts of inventory in our stores to try to usurp the delays,
but our best sellers are selling fast and we are doing our best to replenish our inventory as quickly as possible.
If you have special ordered an item, or are considering special ordering an item we kindly ask that you have patience for the duration of the COVID delays.
Please understand we are trying to get your product to you as quickly as we can, and unfortunately the delays are out of our control.
We are doing our best to navigate todays challenging waters of supplying furniture to our guests.
